Snatch the Pebble From My Hand….
It was Feb. 1972, three days before my birthday that I received from the universe a 15 episode story that
gave me the first of many prolific lessons on the soul’s growth. Those episodes were a calling that took
40 years to come to fruition. KUNG FU, starring David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine became a run-
away global phenomenon. I was captivated by the simpleness of a lifestyle that could give a person the
tools to a peaceful soul. I, myself was not at peace with life. I had wished to travel the world like Cain
when I was in college, but I made other choices. The messages were clear, but even though I watched
every episode of the series to its end, I was not at peace. It took 40 years to open my heart and visit my
soul to understand.
“From the crane, we learn grace and self-control. The snake teaches us suppleness and rhythmic
endurance. The praying mantis teaches us speed and patience. And from the tiger, we learn tenacity
and power. And from the dragon, we learn to ride the wind. All creatures, the low and the high, are
one with nature. If we have the wisdom to learn, all may teach us their virtues.” -Master Kan
“The soul does not keep time, it merely records growth.” I have much more to grow.
